This PSA was developed as part of a broader civil society campaign involving social rights movements, the religious sector, trade unions and government calling on South Africans to stand up against xenophobia and the accompanying violence meted out to Africans from other parts of the continent in a march scheduled for the 23rd of April 2015.
Sonke is a South African-based non-profit organisation working throughout Africa. We believe women and men, girls and boys can work together to resist patriarchy, advocate for gender justice and achieve gender transformation.
