Gail joined Sonke in October 2009 as the Operations Administrator. She is currently in the position of HR Administrator. She started her career in the NGO sector in 1998 as an office assistant at the Resource Action Group. She went on to become the office administrator where she also started dealing with finances in regards to petty cash and banking. She has trained as an office administrator and has certificates from Peninsula Technikon and Damelin. She has also completed a correspondence course in Human Resource Management and is hoping to further those studies by obtaining a diploma in either HR or Labour Law. Gail is also a trained lifeskills facilitator.
