Mzwakhe Khumalo

Community Education and Mobilization (CEM)

Mzwakhe Khumalo started working for Sonke in June 2010 as a One Man Can Trainer for the Red Card Campaign. Before joining Sonke, he worked for HOPE Worldwide South Africa as the Men as Partners (MAP) facilitator for three years. Mzwakhe later moved to Olive Leaf Foundation where he was working on the family wellness and development programme as well as coordinating the Community Childcare Forum project at national level.

Currently, Mzwakhe sits on the National Action Committee task team for Children Affected by HIV and Aids (NACCA). Mzwakhe is currently pursuing his studies for a degree on Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluations on HIV/Aids documentation. His passion is to work with men in addressing human rights, gender-based violence, the spread and impact of HIV and AIDS.
