Thomas Kingela KhondeThomas Kingela Khonde started volunteering at Sonke Gender Justice Network in 2008 and he subsequently became a Peer Educator in the Refugee Health and Rights Project since February 2010. Prior to coming to South Africa, Thomas worked as a coordinator for Vie du Pauvre a non-profit making organisation based in Bas-Congo (DRC) which specialises in agriculture and fish breeding sectors whose main objective is to empower women and reduce poverty. Thomas holds a Diploma in Mathematical Physical Science. He has a certificate in Project Management and Evidence-Based Health Management from the Foundation for Professional Development (FPD) Pretoria. His active participation in multiple workshops facilitated by different organisations divulges his commitment around the issues of Gender, HIV and Aids and Human Rights work.
