Vusi Cebekhulu

Vusi CebekhuluVusi Cebekhulu is a One Man Can Coordinator for Sonke Gender Justice Network. He has been in the field of training on HIV/AIDS and gender related issues since 1998, when he joined PPASA as a depot holder for oral contraceptives and condoms. This involvement formed part of a strategy to involve men in issues of sexual and reproductive health.  He functioned in this capacity until 2001 when he was appointed as Gauteng provincial Men As Partners (MAP) educator. He also took part in the establishment of Men in Partnership against AIDS (MIPAA) in Cape Town. In 2004 he joined the Reproductive Health Research Unit (RHRU) as a junior project coordinator working in hostels within the Johannesburg inner city. In 2005 Vusi consulted with Engenderhealth and Hope Worldwide. He is married and has two daughters and also spends time serving the community as a volunteer for Siyabonga Multi-purpose centre in Orange Farm where he has been appointed deputy chair person.  Vusi is a Pastor within the church ministry.
